Dior Debuts First U.S. Dining Experience with Dominique Crenn on Rodeo Drive

Los Angeles is about to welcome one of its most exclusive new dining destinations. Monsieur Dior by Dominique Crenn, the first U.S. restaurant from Dior, will open this fall on Rodeo Drive, blending haute cuisine with the elegance of French fashion.

Dominique Crenn Brings Her Vision to Dior

The acclaimed chef Dominique Crenn, best known for her three-Michelin-starred Atelier Crenn in San Francisco, brings her artistry to Beverly Hills for Dior’s latest cultural venture. Crenn made history as the first female chef in the U.S. to achieve three Michelin stars, and now she’s applying that same spirit of excellence to Dior’s flagship. “Christian Dior is not just about fashion,” Crenn explained in an exclusive interview. “It’s about story, purpose, meaning, craftsmanship — and being a bridge for the next generation. The alignment was very clear.”

A New Chapter for Dior Dining

Crenn previously collaborated with the fashion house for Café Dior in Dallas, but the Rodeo Drive location marks the first time Dior is offering dinner service in the U.S.. This makes the restaurant one of the most anticipated openings in Los Angeles, a city where securing a reservation is already considered a competitive sport.

Inside Monsieur Dior

Located on the third floor of Dior’s new flagship, designed by renowned architect Peter Marino, Monsieur Dior by Dominique Crenn offers a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. The space is divided between a lounge and bar and a main dining room, with additional seating on a terrace.

Total capacity: 105 guests

Lounge: 43 seats, including 11 at the bar

Dining room: Indoor and outdoor seating, with intimate booth arrangements

The design emphasizes light and air, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a skylight. Positioned next to Dior’s homeware section, the restaurant offers an immersive brand experience — diners will eat on Dior tableware and discover curated collections, including a special apricot hue for the Cannage, Chevron, and Stripes glassware.

A Culinary Dialogue with Dior

Crenn has described the process of developing the menu as a creative conversation with Christian Dior himself. “I always have him in my mind, learning about his art,” she said. “I spent a lot of time in Paris in his archives to try to learn.” This thoughtful approach ensures that Monsieur Dior by Dominique Crenn will not just be a restaurant but an extension of Dior’s artistic legacy — a place where haute couture and haute cuisine meet in the heart of Beverly Hills.
