World Premiere of MY DAD'S KID Opens at Beverly Hills Playhouse September 12

MY DAD'S KID Comes to Beverly Hills Playhouse This Month

Beverly Hills Playhouse is set to stage the world premiere of MY DAD’S KID, a new play by playwright Eric Toms, directed by Allen Barton. The intimate two-hander will run from September 12 to October 5, 2025 at the iconic Los Angeles theater.

A Story of Family, Identity, and Truth

The play centers on Greg, an aimless novelist working as a ride-share driver, who receives an unexpected visit from Pamela, his razor-sharp half-sister, during Christmas week in Los Angeles. Within the confines of one small apartment, the siblings are forced to confront clashing memories of their father, long-buried family secrets, and simmering resentments. The result is a witty and big-hearted drama that explores family identity, reinvention, and the truths we try to avoid.
