A Fresh Wave of Dining Experiences Redefines Beverly Hills

A Fresh Wave of Dining Experiences Redefines Beverly Hills

Mei Lin Brings Elevated Chinese Cuisine to Beverly Hills

Just steps away from La Dolce Vita, Bravo TV’s “Top Chef” champion Mei Lin has returned to the spotlight with a new fine-dining concept alongside Francis Miranda, co-owner of Daybird. Rooted in the traditional Chinese flavors Lin grew up cooking with her parents, the restaurant blends heritage with innovation.

The intimate space, designed by Los Angeles-based Preen, Inc., features just 44 seats, a side cocktail bar, and a private dining room overlooking the floor below. Subtle jade accents honor the stone’s cultural significance in Chinese tradition, symbolizing prosperity and longevity.

On the table, dishes are served family-style on a marble lazy Susan—ranging from sesame prawn toast and chrysanthemum salad to grilled Ibérico pork char siu and jasmine milk tea buns. The French-leaning wine program is led by Diana Lee (formerly of Gwen and Intercrew), while cocktails by Kevin Nguyen (Death & Co, Camelia) reimagine classics such as the Mai Tai and Long Island iced tea.

Cavcas Introduces Armenian and Georgian Flavors

On Canon Drive, Cavcas offers a vibrant alternative to the Italian and Mediterranean-heavy local scene, celebrating Armenian and Georgian cuisine in a modern setting.

The elegant dining room pairs white tones with outdoor seating and a full bar. Signature dishes include wood-fired khachapuri with mushroom and truffles, smoky khorovats platters draped with lavash, and refreshing salads like the house Cavcas with heirloom tomatoes, eggplant, and mint cream cheese. For indulgence, the warm baklava served with Madagascar vanilla ice cream and pistachio chocolate dome are highlights.

La OLA Makes a Splash at the Four Seasons

The rooftop of the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills has been transformed into La OLA, a coastal Mexican restaurant led by Executive Chef Jesus Medina.

The alfresco setting, positioned between the spa and pool, showcases vibrant dishes such as duck carnitas with Yucatán salsa and swordfish al pastor with pineapple. To pair, guests can enjoy curated tequila and mezcal flights that elevate the coastal-inspired experience.

Casa Dani and Katsuya Open Side by Side

At Westfield Century City, Sam Nazarian’s sbe group has debuted a striking dual-restaurant concept featuring Casa Dani by Michelin-honored chef Dani García and Katsuya Century City by master chef Katsuya Uechi.

The 17,000-square-foot venue, designed by David Rockwell and Rockwell Group, accommodates up to 400 diners with a circular bar, an open-air terrace, and a garden overlooking Beverly Hills and Hollywood.

Casa Dani highlights Andalusian-inspired Mediterranean cuisine with vegetable paella, Ibérico ham croquetas, and Basque cheesecake, while Katsuya delivers signature Japanese favorites including toro tartare, rock shrimp, and A5 Wagyu tataki alongside premium sake and cocktails.
