Barely a year after acquiring a magnificent estate in the hills, rapper Drake is ready to part ways with the property, which is full of celebrity history. Now listed on the open market, the Canadian music star is reportedly asking $88 million for his luxurious, resort-style mansion, with TMZ being the first to report the news.

Originally constructed in the late 1990s, the nearly 25,000-square-foot Tuscan-style residence was designed by renowned architects at KAA Design Group for GUESS co-founder Armand Marciano. The mansion initially featured Old World-inspired, Mediterranean-themed interiors, which were later renovated into contemporary spaces by British pop star Robbie Williams. He purchased the property in 2015 for $33 million.

In spring last year, Williams and his wife, Ayda Field, sold the sprawling complex to Drake for a staggering $75 million. It's unclear what modifications the rapper has made since then, but a sleek property listing website suggests the mansion looks similar to its appearance during Williams' ownership, as seen on Field's Instagram account.

Nestled high in the hills above Benedict Canyon and situated at the end of a secluded cul-de-sac, the estate is accessed through gates and an extended driveway. Breathtaking canyon, city, and ocean views are framed by dozens of mature olive trees and ancient oaks. The property boasts an 11-car garage and an expansive motor court with parking for numerous additional vehicles.

The newly staged, minimalist interiors feature a double-height foyer with an impressive staircase, a living room with two massive fireplaces, a wine cellar, a gym, an elevator, a kitchen with dual islands, and an upstairs master suite with a private view balcony and a lavish bathroom larger than some homes. A staff wing and separate guest house are also included.

The estate's bespoke marble finishes and custom woodwork undoubtedly required a significant investment. However, it's the extensive grounds and vistas that truly stand out, with the property boasting one of the largest lawn areas in the 90210 zip code, a full-size tennis court, an outdoor kitchen, and a concealed orchard, as per the listing. The nearly 20-acre compound is primarily composed of rugged hillside.

There is no information yet on Drake's next move, but the rapper frequently spends time in his hometown of Toronto, where he owns a 50,000-square-foot mansion in the upscale Bridle Path neighborhood. The listing is jointly held by Branden and Rayni Williams of The Beverly Hills Estates, along with Marc Bretter of Maywood Property Group.
