Raised in Dallas, Texas, Jackson was drawn to filmmaking as early as six years old. By fifteen, he knew he wanted to build a life in film, even though access to movies in his childhood was limited.
That early determination shaped his approach to business. Instead of focusing only on directing or producing individual projects, Jackson structured his company as a vertically integrated studio. Carl Jackson Studios now operates across film production, television content creation, global theatrical releases, and distribution partnerships. The studio maintains a multi-year, ten-picture deal with Buffalo 8 and Bondit Media Capital. It also holds a global streaming partnership with Fawesome. These agreements allow the company to move projects from development to release with fewer external barriers. The studio’s content slate reflects its wide scope. Projects such as P31, Carl Jackson’s LAX, and Love Solutions have gained visibility on Apple TV and iTunes charts. I Am Ryan is scheduled for theatrical release beginning May 22, 2026. Jackson is also starring in The Well and LAX 3, continuing the popular LAX film series alongside Andrea McClew.
Beyond current releases, the studio has more than thirty films in various stages of production. Upcoming titles include Virtual Time, Miami Strip, and Zombies VS Robots: The Dawn. These projects span faith-based storytelling, action science fiction, and genre-driven narratives. The emphasis remains on introducing new faces to the market, echoing the early studio model that developed long-term talent.
The expansion does not stop with film and television. The company has entered a new film and gaming partnership with Zoneify and plans to develop interactive projects. Jackson, who is also a singer, is preparing his first live concert film for release through Zoneify and Fawesome. One long-term goal is to open a summer camp retreat for young people ages twelve to twenty-one. The program would train aspiring crew members and introduce them to emerging technologies, including AI tools used in production.
