Polly’s Pies Launches “Pie for the People” Campaign to Support Southern California Veterans and First Responders

Polly’s Pies “Pie for the People” Campaign Returns to Honor Veterans and First Responders
In the spirit of gratitude and community, Polly’s Pies has once again launched its annual “Pie for the People” campaign, encouraging Southern Californians to show appreciation to those who serve by donating pies now through July 4.For just $15, customers can purchase a pie that will be delivered directly to first responders, veterans, and active-duty service members across Los Angeles, Orange, and Riverside counties. And for every two pies sold, Polly’s Pies will donate an additional pie — amplifying the impact with every contribution.
A Personal Tribute from Veteran Founders
The campaign holds special meaning for Polly’s Pies co-founder Don Sheldrake and the late Eddie Sheldrake, both of whom are veterans, as is the current manager of the brand’s Los Alamitos location. Their service underscores a deeper purpose: honoring fellow veterans and service personnel not just with a sweet treat, but with heartfelt recognition. Now in its fourth year, the initiative has already raised 13,278 pies and aims to reach 6,000 more by Independence Day. Each pie becomes a symbol of thanks delivered through VA hospitals, military platoons, and community organizations.
