How Israeli Immigrant Liv Shine Rebuilt Her Life from Fire, Faith, and Flipping Homes

From an Orthodox upbringing to real estate and reinvention in Malibu, Liv Shine’s journey captures the resilience of a woman who refused to settle.
Born Revital Zadikov in Israel to a Russian-Bukharian and Persian Jewish family, Liv Shine’s life was mapped out early—marriage at 17, religion as a compass, and tradition as law. But the move to America marked a turning point. “I realized I could question things, and the world didn’t fall apart,” she says.
With her husband—a former rabbi who once led a Russian community at Chabad of Arizona—Liv turned to real estate. Together, they flipped over 25 homes while raising two children. But it wasn’t until she began sharing her story publicly that Liv stepped fully into herself.
After the devastating Palisades fire consumed their home, Liv’s message gained even more clarity: “Everything physical was gone. But our strength, our bond, and our voice—that survived.” She now uses her platforms to speak on identity, reinvention, and immigrant tenacity.
